2. Selected data protection methods used by the Operator

  1. Login and personal data entry areas are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data and login credentials entered on the website are encrypted on the user's computer and can only be read by the target server.
  2. Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that it can only be read by the Operator who possesses the key. This protects the data in the event of the database being stolen from the server.
  3. User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hashing function works one-way – its operation cannot be reversed, which is currently the standard for storing user passwords.
  4. The Website uses two-factor authentication, which provides an additional form of protection for logging into the Website.
  5. The Operator periodically changes administrative passwords.
  6. To protect data, the Operator regularly creates backup copies.
  7. An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of software components.

  2. Your personal data is processed by the Administrator no longer than necessary to perform the activities related to it, as specified by separate regulations (e.g. accounting regulations). Marketing data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.

However, the right to object cannot be exercised where there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular for the establishment, exercise or defense of claims.
  5. You have the right to lodge a complaint against the Administrator's actions with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the operation of the Website.
  7. Decisions may be made in relation to you by automated means, including profiling, for the purpose of providing services under the concluded agreement and for the purpose of the Administrator's direct marketing.
