Direct replacement for the OEM rear mono shock absorber on all M8 Softail models. The extra length adds additional cornering clearance. It also reduces the trail of the front fork for a more nimble handling bike. An overall great way to improve the riding experience on any Softail. Comes equipped with a 13.5" nitrogen charged 40mm monotube damper with internal floating piston and deflective disc valving technique. Offers preload adjustment via a threaded preload spanner wrench. The preload spanner wrench is included. Raises the bike 1" (25mm) when compared to the stock 13.1" (333mm) shock. Raises the bike 2" (50mm) when compared to the stock 12.6" (320mm) shock.
