High 9:1 (53cc dome) compression ratio. Fits as a direct replacement for 1340 (80") Shovelhead models 3-1/2" bore with stock 4-1/4" stroke. These S&S forged pistons come in an advanced alloy and skirt profiles resulting in a quiet engine and long life previously only achievable with cast pistons. This is an excellent choice to overhaul your stock 1340cc Shovel with a higher compression piston. Pistons include wrist pins wrist pin clips and piston rings. Note: S&S piston fit recommendations: Close fit .0030" to .0035" loose fit .004" to .005". Note: In any and all applications the technician must be able to judge components for their suitability in combination with the other engine components prior to installation. It is of importance that a knowledgeable mechanic will install & make adjustments as required.
